A vent (water) valve is a device used to remove gas or excess moisture from a piping system. Its working principle is based on buoyancy and the compressibility of gases. When there is gas accumulation in the pipeline, the gas enters the chamber inside the exhaust (water) valve. As the gas increases, the pressure in the chamber increases, pushing the float or valve core and other components to open the exhaust port and discharge the gas.
